Method 3: Reinstall Windows Store to fix 0x80131500 Error

If none of the above methods have fixed your issue yet, You might want to Reinstall Windows Apps Store on your own.

It is easy and can be done by executing a Couple of commands.

First, we will use a command to uninstall Windows Store and then execute another one to Reinstall Store on your System.

Open Windows Powershell or Command Prompt as Admin(Right-click on start button)

Copy the below command and paste it by simply right-clicking in Windows Powershell / Command prompt. Press Enter.


Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Remove-AppxPackage


The above command will run successfully and will uninstall Windows Store from your system. Now we will reinstall Windows Store, and for that, you will be required to Execute Below Command and press enter.


Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}


Once it is done, Reboot your PC and see if this has solved your Issue Of 0x80131500 Error.
