- Stopping Update Services
- Renaming the Folders.

Four services are running on your system, which we will be Restarting. And they are Msi Installer, BITS, Cryptographic, and Windows update services.
We will be then Renaming 2 Folders which are Software Distribution and Catroot2. Windows Stores Temporary Update files in these folders.
So, we will rename them to Software Distribution.old and Catroot2.old.
Now, what will happen is Next time you try to update your windows, Your system will not find Software Distribution and Catroot2 folders; So, it will create them and store updated downloads files in them.
Now, you will start those 4 services which we stopped earlier.
It may get a bit technical, but all these steps can be performed via Command prompt or Windows Powershell.

Open Command Prompt or Windows Powershell By Right-clicking on Start Button, you can Press Windows + X key to open that option.
Once Windows Powershell opens, Type Below mentioned Commands one by one. Do not forget to press enter after each command to execute them.
You can Copy the below command and just right-click in Command prompt or Windows PowerShell to Paste them. Now, all you have to do is press ENTER to Execute.

- The First four lines of command will stop the services.
- Next, Two lines of commands will rename the folders we talked about earlier.
- The last four lines of commands will Start the Services Again.
